Account Manager Netherlands

As Account Manager Netherlands, you're the face of Bertus for a portfolio of Dutch customers. You build long-term relationships, maintain intensive contact with customers, and make sure commercial opportunities are used to their full potential.

You're on the road a lot, visiting customers all across the Netherlands. During these conversations, you discuss new releases, promotional campaigns, market developments and growth opportunities. You understand the challenges retailers face and translate them into concrete solutions and commercial plans.

For your largest customers, you work with account plans in which joint objectives are set and tracked. You're also alert to opportunities in the market and contribute to expanding our customer base by approaching new potential customers.

You work closely with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Customer Care to support customers optimally and achieve commercial objectives.

Profile

Who you are

You're a commercial professional who gets energy from building and maintaining relationships. You enjoy being on the road, understand how retail works, and know how to help customers succeed.

You also bring:

•          Affinity with music and the music industry

•          Knowledge of retail; experience within music retail is a strong plus

•          Experience in account management, field sales or a similar commercial role

•          Strong communication and relationship-building skills

•          Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written

•          The ability to translate commercial objectives into concrete plans and actions

•          Experience with CRM systems and an understanding of structured relationship management

•          Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and turn it into commercial insights

•          Good command of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word

•          A proactive, independent and results-driven attitude

•          Driving licence B

Activities

What you'll be doing

•          Managing, maintaining and growing your own customer portfolio within the Netherlands

•          Acting as the first point of contact for your customers

•          Regularly visiting customers across the Netherlands

•          Discussing new releases, campaigns, promotions and commercial opportunities

•          Drawing up, executing and evaluating account plans for your largest customers

•          Achieving revenue, margin and growth targets within your portfolio

•          Spotting developments within the music and retail market and translating them into commercial opportunities

•          Analysing sales results, market data and customer performance

•          Ensuring accurate and complete registration of customer information, appointments, call reports and commercial opportunities in the CRM system

•          Actively contributing to acquiring new customers wherever opportunities arise
