Order Manager

From our fulfilment and distribution centre in Capelle aan den IJssel, we serve national and international customers with a broad assortment, from physical media to consumer goods. As part of the Artone Group, we're in the middle of a period of growth and professionalisation. And that's where we're looking for someone who wants to help shape it.

As Order Manager, you're the linchpin of our order chain. You oversee the entire Order-to-Delivery and Order-to-Cash process, from order entry to delivery and invoicing, and make sure everything runs smoothly between Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, Finance and Supply Chain. You spot bottlenecks before they escalate, adjust course where needed, and are the go-to person for your junior and medior colleagues in the order team.

Profile

Who you are

You're not someone who waits for instructions, but someone who oversees the order chain and takes charge yourself. You see where things are rubbing, know what's at stake when an order runs late, and are the person colleagues turn to when things get complex. Analytically strong, connective in your communication, and always focused on the long term, not just today's fire.

•          You have at least 5 years of experience in order management, logistics or supply chain, and know what it means to stand in the middle of a complex order chain

•          You see connections, bring structure where it's missing, and stay calm when three things threaten to go wrong at once

•          You communicate clearly across all corners of the organisation, from the warehouse floor to Finance, and colleagues know to find you when things get complicated

•          You work well with ERP and WMS systems and feel at home in Excel and reporting

•          HBO working and thinking level is the starting point, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration

•          You take ownership, think in solutions, and don't need a fixed job description to know what's needed

Activities

What you'll be doing

•          You monitor the daily order intake and cut-off performance, and step in early when deadlines are at risk

•          You coordinate exceptions and complex order issues, and escalate to management where needed

•          You take ownership of the O2D and O2C process: lead times, service levels, KPIs and improvements

•          You structurally analyse backorders and translate this into recommendations for Supply Chain and MRP

•          You act as the central point of contact for all departments involved and take part in cross-functional projects

•          You provide content guidance to junior and medior colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer and process standardisation
