As Inside Sales Representative – USA, Canada and the United Kingdom, you are, within the Rest of World team, responsible for managing, retaining and further developing your own customer and country portfolio within our international markets. The focus of this role is on USA, Canada and the United Kingdom, important and well-established markets within Bertus, supplemented by other countries within the Rest of World area.

You serve customers in USA, Canada and the United Kingdom and combine relationship management with active market development and new business. You have responsibility within your own regions, while being part of an international sales team. You work daily with labels, retailers and other partners from the international music industry. In doing so, you not only contribute to commercial growth, but you're also part of an organisation where music takes centre stage every day.

In this role you get a lot of responsibility and room to spot commercial opportunities, bring on new customers, and further grow existing business.

Activities

What you'll be doing

As an Inside Sales Representative, you're responsible for a fixed set of countries and regions, with clear commercial targets and revenue responsibility.

Your tasks include:

•          You're responsible for retaining, growing and further developing your own customer and country portfolio;

•          You carry commercial responsibility for USA, Canada and the United Kingdom and actively work on further revenue growth within these strategic markets;

•          You work with concrete revenue and growth targets per country or region and actively steer towards achieving them;

•          You actively follow up on incoming leads (via website or other channels) and convert them into new customers and revenue;

•          You initiate new business yourself through market scans, prospecting and outbound activities within your regions;

•          You develop in-depth knowledge of the local music industry and translate market developments into commercial opportunities for Bertus.

•          You maintain daily contact with customers in English about orders, availability, pricing, deliveries and commercial opportunities;

•          You analyse revenue trends, customer behaviour and other commercial data and translate these insights into concrete actions;

•          You work independently within your own area of responsibility, while coordinating structurally with the Sales Team Lead and colleagues within the international sales team;

•          You work closely with colleagues from Purchasing, Marketing, Customer Care, Logistics and Finance;

•          You actively contribute to a professional, structured and results-driven way of working within the sales team.
