Key Accountmanager Poland

As our Account Manager Poland, you are Bertus in Poland. You'll grow our revenue in the country, develop strategic relationships with retail customers, open doors to new accounts, and bring Polish labels closer to what Bertus and the wider Artone Group can offer. You'll work from your home office, travel regularly to clients and industry events, and stay closely connected to a sales team of around 40 commercial colleagues spread across 14 European countries.

This is a role for someone who knows the Polish music scene, enjoys the hunt for new business, and has the commercial sharpness to manage a serious portfolio without needing anyone to hold their hand. We are already very active in Poland, so you also will have enough existing clients as well.

Profile

Who you are

  • You have at least 3 to 5 years of commercial experience in the music industry, ideally in distribution, retail or label sales.

  • You hold a higher professional education degree (or equivalent through experience).

  • You're a native Polish speaker and fluent in English.

  • You have a driver's license and you genuinely don't mind being on the road to see customers.

  • You're commercially sharp, independent, and comfortable owning a country.

  • You have a real network in the Polish music scene, or the social skill to build one fast.

  • You think strategically but love closing deals.

  • You communicate clearly across departments, cultures and time zones, and you know how to read a room.

Activities

What you'll do

You're part of our Central Europe sales team (8 FTE) and combine new business development, account management and market representation. Roughly 30% of your time goes into acquisition; the rest is spent growing what's already there and making sure Bertus keeps showing up where it matters.

  • Actively approach new customers across traditional and emerging sales channels in Poland.

  • Manage and grow the portfolio of Polish retail accounts, from independents to chains and e-commerce.

  • Develop and execute a country plan and individual account plans, with clear forecasts and pipeline.

  • Coordinate exclusive campaigns, promotional deals and tailored product offerings with Purchasing, Artone Label Group, Warehouse Customer Care and E-commerce.

  • Onboard new clients smoothly, from contracts to operational set-up.

  • Track sales performance, analyse customer data and turn insights into action.

  • Scout and initiate contact with Polish labels to expand our distribution portfolio, including licensing opportunities for in-house labels such as Music On Vinyl and Music On CD.

  • Represent Bertus at industry events, trade shows and gatherings, in negotiations and in public appearances.

  • Keep CRM clean and current: customer data, contact moments, contracts, promotional deals.
